We have seen an increase in the variety of sneakers that have been retroed over the last year as it no longer seems that only the most popular of sneakers can be successfully retroed. The great increase in the popularity sneakers in general has led to successful sales numbers produced from models that would have flopped not too many years ago. Not to say that these lesser known sneakers, such as the Nike Air Up pictured below, are not deserving of attention as they certainly can hold their own when matched up against some of the more popular models. The rumors of the return of the Nike Air Up have been well received and the model certainly seems to be poised for a successful rebirth into the sneaker world. The model was worn most notably by Scottie Pippen and Penny Hardaway and the "Orlando" colorway pictured has been rumored to be hitting shelves sometime in the January/February time frame at a retail price of $130. This is yet to be officially confirmed but these detailed images point towards a release in the near future.
