Air Jordan Retro 2014 Price Increase

2014 is quickly shaping up to be an excellent season for Air Jordan fans, unfortunately recent news has surfaced that there will be an increase in the Air Jordan Retro base price. According to the catalog picture below, the cost of a standard retro Air Jordan sneaker will take a $10 increase up to $170 total. Even though the price of Air Jordans continue to increase, the demand for the well beloved sneaker line does as well. This contradicts basic economic principles, but the borderline crazy increase in sneaker popularity is the driving force behind the changes. Do you feel the current trend will continue even with  another price increase? Would you consider abandoning Air Jordan Retros and focusing your sneaker interest elsewhere? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "All-Star"

Ken Griffey Jr. is likely one of the most popular professional baseball players of all time. He impressed adoring fans both on and off of the baseball field and quickly earned the nickname of "The Kid" while playing along side his father, Ken Griffey Sr., for the Seattle Mariners. Almost equally popular as Griffey's performance of the field was what he had on his feet. His signature shoe line made an easy transition to casual wear and has become one of the more highly sought-after signature sneaker lines of all time.

Likely the most popular of the series is the Nike Air Griffey Max 1, so it is no surprise that this is the model that receives a colorway especially for the 2013 MLB All-Star Game. The colorway will release this weekend on July 13th at sneaker retailers such as 21 Mercer. What do you think of this special All-Star release? Are you planning on picking these up this Saturday? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment in the section below.
