Air Jordan I (1) Mid | August 2013

Over his historic career, Michael Jordan made more than a few on-court enemies as he made his way to becoming the greatest basketball player of all-time. He did so with both his aggressive, yet cool, actions both on and off the basketball court. He not only made enemies with individual players, but often times became the enemy of a single team with his ability to dominate the game. Two of these such teams were the Phoenix Suns, lead by Charles Barkley, and the Seattle Supersonics, who were led by the duo of all-stars Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp.

Pictures below is a look at two upcoming colorways of the Air Jordan I (1) Mid, which are set to hit retailers sometime in August. The models feature the team colors of the Phoenix Suns and Seattle Supersonics in an attempt to honor the rivalry that was created between the two teams and Jordan's Bulls when they met, and lost to, the Chicago team that became a powerhouse throughout the 1990's. Unfortunately the two sneakers have yet to receive an exact release date but they have been confirmed for a release sometime in August. Is either model worth picking up? If so, which one?
