It appears that the Asics Gel Lyte III is quickly becoming Ronnie Fieg's go to sneaker model for collaborations. It has always been his mostly frequent collaboration shoe, but more recently it seems he is workin almost exclusively with the beloved running model. With the Miami and NYC inspired makeups dropping earlier this year, Fieg has now announced the release date for the "Flamingo" colorway of the Gel Lyte III of 8/2 of this year.
The "Flamingo" makeup, pictured below, will feature a mostly grey upper that is accented by hints of pink and light blue. The model is finished off with a white midsole and pink accented rope laces. Fieg has given quite a few sneek-peek looks at the model but it now appears to be close to receiving an official release date. How does this Fieg collaboration compare with past collabs?
