Sneaker companies are well known for their "Olympic" Edition models and colorways, which are regularly some of the most popular releases of any given year. The release would come as a bit of a surprise as both sneakers comprising the pack have been released over the last couple of years, leaving many asking why they are returning so soon. This pack does differ slightly from the general releases of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 6 "Olympic" colorways in several ways. For one, the pack comes in a suit case looking box that will certainly have collectors interested. Also, as seen above, the Air Jordan 6 in the pack looks like it will feature a removable American flag, which would make the shoe incredibly collectable if they do indeed release.
The reason Jordan Brand would put together a "Olympic" pack such as this is somewhat curious. Rumors are floating around that the release would be a way to pay homage to the current USA Basketball Team, which makes sense with the FIBA World Championships taking place this upcoming summer. Either way this pack will certainly continue to gain popularity as more images surface and more information becomes available.
