Adidas Crazy 8 "Nightmare Before Christmas"

The holiday season always results in some of the hottest sneakers of the year being dropped. Companies go out of their way to release some of the sneakers and colorways of the year. Adidas is getting in on the action this year, as they normally do, with the release of the "Nightmare Before Christmas" Crazy 8. The model, pictured below, features a metallic purple upper that is accompanied by black and white accents as well as a semi-translucent sole. The model has already released at retailers such as Oneness, so if you're interested be sure to head over and pick a pair up before its too late.

Reebok Kamikaze 1 - Upcoming Retros

Reebok has launched it Reebok Classics line over the last year and has brought back some of the most popular retro releases of the year. It now looks like they will continue to this trend through 2014 as we have recently gotten a look at the upcoming Kamikaze 1 retros for early 2014. Two colorways are currently planned, both of which are pictured below. The first sports a black and red make up while the second dons a mostly black and white upper that is accented by green on across the back panel. No word of definitive release dates for the model but they certainly appear to be on their way to retailers in the next few months.

Air Jordan Melo 1.5 Retro and #RiseToTheMoment Event

The Air Jordan Melo 1.5 has already been confirmed to be on its way back to retailers, a fact that has much of the sneaker community more than excited, and last night Jordan Brand and Carmelo Anthony celebrated their 10 year partnership with the #RiseToTheMoment Event. The event featured the Air Jordan 1.5 Melo Retro, pictured below, and occurred on the night of the Brooklyn Nets-New York Knicks cross-borough matchup. Nike LeBron 11 "BHM" First Look

As we have seen with past models in the Nike LeBron signature series, the Nike LeBron 11 is set to receive a makeup in honor of Black History Month in February. There is no news on release date or price at this point, but the shoe is sure to be in high demand upon release. The sneaker features a mostly black upper that is accented by gold on the Nike and LeBron branding as well as purple on the sole and lining of the model. The upper also features various prints, just as previous year's models have.

Confirmed: Jordan Brand Signs Rapper Drake

It appears that Rap Artist Drake's statement at a recent concert was not an exaggeration, in fact Jordan Brand has confirmed that they have signed a contract with the famous musician. This comes on the heels of Kanye West deciding to end his relationship with Nike and instead sign a new contract with Adidas. It seems that the influence of hip-hop culture on the sneaker community is at an all time high. What do you think of Drake signing a contract with Jordan Brand?
