The Air Jordan 14 is one of the more overlooked sneaker models in the Air Jordan line. If it we not for the famous "Last Shot" Jordan took over Bryon Russell to win the 1998-1999 NBA Finals over the Utah Jazz the shoe may have been completely overlooked as Jordan retired for the second time after completing his second three-peat with the Chicago Bulls. Luckily for us the current retro craze is allowing us to experience the model once again and the public opinion on the sneaker may just change for the better. With that said, a new colorway of the shoe is set to release as the Air Jordan 14 "Thunder" colorway is scheduled to hit retailers on July 4th. Just in time for the height of the summer, the shoe is likely to fly off shelves as most retro releases do these days so be sure you are more than ready on release day if you plan to pick up a pair.
