LeBron James is beginning to get a reputation for paying homage to his past through his sneakers. Whether it be his multiple "SVSM" edition sneakers that draw inspiration from his high school days or colorways of his sneakers that are made exclusively for AAU basketball teams he is affiliated with. No matter what the inspiration, it seems like the shoes are always a hit. Next up appears to be the Nike LeBron X Low "Akron Aeros", pictured below, which is inspired by the Akron, Ohio, (James' hometown), minor league baseball team.
This model has received a lot of positive attention since originally surfacing earlier this year. Now we know the sneaker will hit retailers August 3rd and will feature a silver upper that is accented by light blue hints on the sole and inner liner. The look is finished off with an always popular speckled midsole and full-length Air Unit. How does this colorway compare to other colorways of the Nike LeBron X Low we've seen so far?
