When the Air Jordan 17 released in its original "White/College Blue" colorway on February 9, 2012 it had the sneaker community going crazy, and is today's Sneaker of the Day. The model featured a white leather upper with multiple blue accents on the to guard and in the blue partially translucent arch. The shoe was designed for optimum performance as the shoe is outfitted with a midfoot cover and Lycra collar for a customized fit. Also, the shoe features a light-weight phylon midsole and full-length shank plate to be strong yet light. This model is yet to receive a retro outside of the CDP edition but with all the retros coming out of Jordan Brand it may only be a matter of time till we see this model back on shelves.
