Michael Jordan's on court battles with the Boston Celtics and Larry Bird are well documented. The upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG "Celtics" honors this rivalry by displaying the Celtics green and white team colors accompanied by gold accents to add to the OG theme. The main focus of the OG theme is the "Nike Air" found on the sneakers tongue, just as it was when the sneakers original colorways released in 1985. What makes this sneaker especially unique is the tribute to the Boston Garden's parquet floor, which can be found in the textured green on much of the makeups upper.
